Spreading the GLOW: Not only will we have a care kit station to assemble and disperse to our neighbors in need, but we're also inviting you to join us in serving the greater community throughout November. TRIBE partners with several social justice organizations across Los Angeles. Participants in these volunteer opportunities will receive a promo code for free admission as a thank you gift.Volunteer sign-up HERE!

L’Dough V’Dough: Light & Miracles

3G@LAMOTH (Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust)

Braid and bake challah alongside local Holocaust survivors and share personal narratives from one generation to another. You’ll have an opportunity to create menorahs to be donated to a local community center.

Evoking the Hebrew phrase, “L’Dor V’Dor,” or “from generation to generation,” L’Dough V’Dough is a unique opportunity to engage with local survivors in an intimate setting in meaningful conversations about the Holocaust, Jewish culture and heritage, and social action. You’ll leave inspired by stories of remarkable resilience and the strength of community.

The Light of Tikkun Olam

Co-created by a NuRoots Community Member

Hanukkah is the festival of light, an important time of year where we think about the meaning of the holiday, miracles, giving back, and bringing more brightness into the world. During this program, we'll immerse ourselves in learning about a variety of Jewish and Israeli projects that help improve the world by practicing Tikkun Olam. Over dinner, we'll share experiences and discuss and explore how we can further involve ourselves with these initiatives, then make our own Menorahs.

This is a private event. location given upon rsvp. email sarahatagger@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
